As an attempt to gain capital to develop IKN, the Indonesian government is currently conducting a massive operation in actively seeking foreign investors to IKN. Indonesia has acquired a long list of foreign investors such as multinational corporations and even other countries such as China and Malaysia. Foreign investments in IKN were acquired with the goal to build multiple sectors such as infrastructure, education, health and medicine, offices, etc. Several news outlets reported that the total amount of foreign investments in IKN have reached 41 Trillion Rupiahs and still looking for a lot more.
